In a post-Grindr world where we can have sex delivered to our door at the tap of an app, nothing beats the thrill of eye contact that promises the best sex of our lives… even if it takes us to unsafe spaces. Whether our unsafe space is a cruising park, the back seat of someone’s car, or in a public toilet with a married man, we all get off on risky, sensory sex. This ‘SNIFF’ edition, printed in black, grey and white to evoke a three-pack of Calvins bought to be filled with spunk and stains, celebrates the wide variety of smells, flavours and sensations that bring out the pig in all of us. The images and words are collected from a series of raw, unguarded confessionals with gay men of all ages and backgrounds.
